Monaco's win saw them leapfrog Rabiot and his team-mates, including Mason Greenwood, into second place. Rabiot was left fuming after the game, storming off the pitch after the full-time whistle and heading straight down the tunnel. Rabiot did not join his team-mates in acknowledging the fans, either, and gave a rather monosyllabic interview when approached by journalists after the defeat. Greenwood was criticised in the French media for his performance.
Asked to give a comment, Rabiot quickly replied: "If I talk, I will say crazy things."
Marseille play Montpellier next. Montpellier have been relegated, so this clash may offer some respite for Roberto De Zerbi's side. Marseille have won just one of their last five fixtures.
